Mailbox Size:

Unlimited mail box size. One of our best Hosted Exchange features is Unlimited Storage. We’ll start you with 100GB and if you get near capacity we’ll increase the mailbox storage space as needed.

ActiveSync:

Synchronize mail across all devices, including desktops, laptops, phones, etc. If you send from your phone, all of your other devices (desktop, laptop, etc.) are instantly updated. And, if you delete a message on your desktop it's deleted from your phone, laptop, and whatever other devices you have connected.

Support For Mobile Devices:

Full Exchange functionality on iPhone and Android, including calendars, contacts, tasks, etc.

Real-Time Push Notification:

As soon as a message arrives, it shows up in your Inbox. With other types of email (IMAP/POP3) you're email client checks for messages at a specific interval, for example, every 5 minutes. When you have us as your Exchange provider, mail is pushed to your computer or phone instantly.

Large Attachment Size (Key Hosted Exchange Feature):

Send and receive attachments up to 150MB. By contrast, most other providers max out at 20-25MB, and some at only 5MB.

Share:

Share calendars, contacts, and tasks with others. And you get to decide how much to share and who with.

Webmail:

Access your email from anywhere. As long as you have an internet connection, you can log in to your account via Outlook Web Access (OWA) and have complete email functionality. OWA for Exchange 2019 is so good that many of our customers don't even use a local mail client, like Outlook. They just use OWA because it gives you the look and feel of Outlook with only a browser connection. And it's included for free.

Premium Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus:

Multiple Domains:

You are only charged for unique inboxes, so you can have several domians under your main account. As long as messages sent to names@domain2.com go to the inboxes at names@domain1.com there is no additional charge. This would be considered a domain alias and we do not charge for those.

Email Aliases:

Users can have an unlimited number of aliases. Aliases are just different names for the same account. For example bob.smith@domain.com can also have bsmith@domain.com and bob@domain.com for no extra charge. Or any other name too, like billing@, manager@, etc. Messages sent to these addresses will all go to the inbox on the root account, in this case, bob.smith@domain.com.

Distribution Lists:

The number of Distribution lists is unlimited. A distribution list doesn't have its own inbox. it just delivers a message to whoever is on the list. For example, sales@domain.com could be a distribution list that delivers messages to whoever is in the sales department. Distribution lists can also have unlimited aliases.

Shared Mailboxes:

A shared mailbox is one that several people have access to and can send replies from. Support@domain.com is a good example. You can have several people monitoring support@domain.com and members can see if messages have been replied to.

Resource Mailboxes:

conference_room@domain.com is a common example. Use the calendar of this account to reserve the conference room. Everyone sees this calendar and can see when the conference room is booked. And it doesnt have to be a conference room. It could be a certain piece of equipment or a company truck, etc. The external mailboxs for these accounts are turned off. They're used specifically for the calendar functionality.

Public Folders:

These are folders that everyone in the company has access to. They can contain important reference materials like email notices, company-wide contacts, vacation calendars, etc. Permissions to modify public folders can be granted to individuals on a granular basis. Public folders are not enabled by default but can be turned on if desired.

Send As, Send on Behalf:

Commonly used by administrative assistants to reply to messages sent to their managers. If, say, a manager is out of the office, the assistant can either reply as the manager or reply on behalf of the manager.

Calendar Management:

Anyone with assigned permissions can view, add, change, and delete appointments on the someone else's calendar. Usually applied at the same time as the "Send as/send on behalf" permissions above.

Remote Wipe (Key Hosted Exchange Feature):

If an employee loses their phone or has it stolen, you can perform a remote wipe, effectively "bricking" the device. This is not to be used lightly, but it's a better option than having your company email exposed to potential bad actors.

Number of Messages Sent/Received per Day:

This is Unlimited, within reason. Users must abide by our "Fair Use" policy, which basically targets spammers. We will not tolerate spammers on our system. However, some of our customers have legitimatey large mailing lists that are well-maintained and well-managed, which is ok with us.

Backups:

Backups are performed daily. In the rare event that an email account is deleted by a local account admin we can fully restore the entire account from the last backup. Mail that was sent or received after the last backup was performed can be downloaded from the spam filter message logs, so deleted accounts can be fully restored for up to seven days.

Oops! I deleted an Important Folder:

Did you accidentally delete a folder containing important messages? We see this all the time. Relax, we can recover your "oops!" moments from backup for up to seven days.

Automatic TLS Security:

Online Solutions attempts to send every message via TLS and we accept messages sent to us via TLS. However, we do not require TLS by default (we do not want to block any legitimate inbound mail from systems not using TLS). You can change that if you like. In the Spam Filter you can adjust settings to 'Require Encrypted TLS receiving email from ALL domains', or 'Require Encrypted TLS receiving email from certain domains' and/or 'Require Encrypted TLS relaying email (outbound) to selected destination domains'. You have detailed control over these security options.

Email Encryption:

Every account has access to email encryption. However, there is some additional setup involved. This is full end to end encryption as opposed to (but in addition to) the in-transit TLS encryption described above. See full details here: Email Encryption for Outbound Mail.

IMAP/POP:

As an additional Hosted Exchange feature, IMAP and POP3 are also enabled, so you can connect to your acount with the IMAP or POP3 prtotcol. This is not common, but it's available if you need it.

Admin Portal:

Manage your entire account. Add/delete users, change passwords, manage distribution lists, etc. Simple yet powerful interface. Multiple individuals can be assigned admin priviledges.
